Bizarre

Some on the left actually insinuating that the Bush plane crash was some sort of conspiracy by Bush 43 to get rid of his father. Check it out at Blogs of War.

Lost in the Shuffle

As we enter this week, many are filled with the anticipation of turkey, stuffing, pies and an afternoon spent in a shallow coma in front of a football game. (Mmmm.....fried turkey! Sorry, I'm back with you now.) Maybe it's just me but it seems you could totally miss the meaning of the holidays we celebrate if you relied entirely on what they are often called. It seems more than ever this year I have heard Thanksgiving referred to as Turkey Day. It really makes me pause. If you celebrate nothing more than a bird or a meal, I fear you have missed the point. This is a day to truly reflect and be thankful for all that God has given us. If you woke up this morning in America, you have more to be thankful for than most people in the world.
Before you slip off into that coma, this year I am making it a point to wish you all a Merry Christmas. You'll not hear a Happy Holidays or Season's Greetings from me this year. I celebrate Christmas. The birth of Jesus Christ. If you know the Reason for the season, I urge you to do the same.

Go Bucks!!!

Congrats to OSU for knocking off the Wolverines 37-21!!! Michigan certainly ruined enough of our seasons. Ted Ginn Jr. is awesome and Troy Smith was a running machine. OSU has now won 3 out of the last 4 vs. Michigan under Tressel. Way to go!!

One State, Two State, Red State, Blue State

How did it look on the county level? Gee, maybe flyover country is more important than the Democrats anticipated.

Seriously?

This is the reason Kerry lost? I'm not buying. Had Senator Kerry been able to convince the American people they would be safer under his watch, the Bin Laden tape wouldn't have mattered at all.

Thank you, America!!

Many thanks to those in red and blue states alike who sent George W. Bush back to Washington for another four years. I think it is clear now that many crossed party lines to choose Bush. Now we don't have to hear about Bush losing the 2000 poplular vote. If you're in red state, keep up the good work. If you're drowning in a sea of blue, help is on the way. Well, perhaps we'll work on a little better slogan. It didn't seem to work too well the last time it was used either.
